Our attorneys are always very involved in your case. We will review medical records and obtain the expert witnesses needed to file a lawsuit and support your medical malpractice claim. Many times we have been successful in cases that were rejected or lost by other attorneys.

There are many different types of medical malpractice cases.  Here are a few of the cases we have handled:

Post-Surgical Error:

During post-surgical care, hospital staff failed to diagnose and timely treat sepsis. After the case was rejected by another law firm, Potter, Carmine obtained a multi-million dollar settlement.

Failure to Diagnose Cancer:

Seizure Case:

Stomach Perforation:

Medication Error:

An inadequately trained nurse gave the wrong medication to a patient complaining of chest pain. After an out-of-state attorney tried the case and lost, Stephen B. Potter took over the case. He appealed the defense verdict to the Delaware Supreme Court and received a reversal. He successfully re-tried the case and achieved a jury verdict of $1.5 million.
